B&C Morning Show: UFC Lightweight Champ Frankie Edgar Motivates The Jets (And The Giants)
Frankie Edgar is from Toms River, NJ and is the current UFC lightweight champion. He has also been known to act as a motivational speaker in his spare time, called upon to pump-up the Jets last November prior to their game with the Houston Texans.
The Jets went on to win the game with the Texans thanks to a late Mark Sanchez TD pass to Santonio Holmes in the game's final seconds. With that in mind, Rex Ryan has called upon Edgar again and the diminutive champion will address Rex's Gang prior to tonight's Monday night match-up with the Dolphins.
