B&C Morning Show: Rex Spouts Off, Sandusky Claims He Is Innocent
It was a busy Tuesday morning here on the Extravaganza, as an ornery Boomer & a bothered Craig began the big program talking about the latest gaffe by Jets head coach Rex Ryan.
The latest incident occurred while Rex was leaving the field at halftime of Sunday night's blow out loss to the Pats. Rex got into it with a heckling fan, used some inappropriate language, and the entire thing was captured on video.
Now Rex has to face the music and Craig thinks too much is being made of it, calling the incident 'no big deal'.
Boomer on the other hand reminds Craig that there is a certain code an NFL coach is expected to adhere to, Rex was clearly out of line and deserves what ever heat comes his way.
From there the guys talked about the interview Bob Costas conducted with accused sex offender Jerry Sandusky, which aired on NBC's 'Rock Center' last night. Throughout the strange interview, Sandusky maintained his innocence.
On a lighter note, Boomer came home from Green Bay - after calling last night's Vikings-Packers game - thinking Aaron Rodgers is playing the quarterback position just about as good as it's ever been played. So there's that too...
