It came as no surprise really that the Knicks organization decided remove the 'interim' tag from Mike Woodson's job title and sign him to a multi-year contract extension. After all, he was able to stabilize things in the Big Apple after Mike D'Antoni resigned in mid-March.
What Craig couldn't understand was why the Knicks elected to make it official this past Friday, on the eve of a three-day holiday weekend.
