B&C Morning Show: Mets Make Moves; Jets, Giants Prepare For Week 14
Boomer & Craig were at odds this morning over how to open this Wednesday edition of the Morning Extravaganza. After briefly mentioning the Jets and the Giants, Craig quickly zeroed his focus in on the New York Mets, who after watching Jose Reyes sing with the Miami Marlins, decided to trade away Angel Pagan and attempt to bolster their bullpen.
Craig believed that despite it being early December and the Jets & Giants both preparing for huge games this Sunday, that the Mets and the message their sending to their fans garnered top-billing, because when you get down to it, New York is a 'baseball town.'
Boomer disagreed. Not with the fact that the Big Apple is a baseball town, but with the thoughts that the Mets should trump the Jets or the Giants. If it were a story involving the Yankees, that would be a different story, but not the Mets.
After bickering like an old married couple - which is really what B&C have become over the last 4+ years - they eventually split the difference and talked about a little of everything.
The guys capped off an entertaining open by making vocal some ideas they have for Mets slogans, for what should be an interesting 2012 campaign for the 'Not So Amazins'...
