B&C Morning Show: Mets Fans Get A Dose Of Reality
The New York Mets are owned by the Wilpon family -- and their financial woes have been well documented.
This morning, after allowing Boomer to vent about the Rangers' 1-0 loss, Craig elected to begin today's show talking about the real prospect of the Wilpons' reign as owners of the Mets coming to an end. Whether or not Fred Wilpon comes to the realization that he has lost the grip on his franchise or MLB is forced to step in, Craig believes the writing is on the wall.
Boomer had a tough time disagreeing with Craig's take - adding that he believes Fred Wilpon does genuinely loves the Mets. With that said, Boomer thinks it's because of the elder Wilpon's sterling reputation, that MLB has not taken power from this ownership group.
From there Craig mentioned an epiphany he had last night regarding a certain New York football team that he believes will lose this weekend. For those of you keeping track at home, Craig's epiphany surrounded around the New York Football Giants - who he believes will stumble against the 4-9 Washington Redskins this Sunday.
