B&C Morning Show: Mets Evoke Feelings Of Disgust

At the beginning of Jerry "Rello" Recco's first update of the morning we heard from what sounded like a disgusted Howie "Hi, I'm Howie Rose" Rose.  Dillon Gee entered last night's game against the Oakland A's with a perfect 7-0 record, only to go out and walk the ballpark (6 BB's) in his 4 innings of work.  Gee took his first loss of the year as the Mets lost by a score of 7-3.

One bright spot for the "Not So Amazins" was Jason Bay (not a typo), as the much-maligned left fielder went 3 for 3 with a triple, his third home run of the season and 2 RBI's.  Craig took notice, but was more concerned with the future of Jose Reyes. He drew a comparison between the Mets' Reyes situation to that of an imaginary situation involving Al "Hughes" Dukes smashing out Marissa Miller (pictured above - Helloooo).

From there Boomer asked Craig about the fun he had with John Franco yesterday when the two broke into song.  We also heard Boomer react to Craig's claim that the NFL lockout is all but over, reminding him that nothing is official...
