B&C Morning Show: Jose Reyes Is A Goner, Jerry Recco Returns
The suspense is over, Jose Reyes agrees with the Miami Marlins while the Mets fail to make an offer.
Jerry Recco returned from the west coast after accompanying the Columbia Lions (ROAR!!!) on their trip to the 'Loyola Marymount Centennial Classic' and he began his first update with the news about Reyes -- and it sparked a discussion.
As a fan of the 'Not So Amazin' Mets, Craig feels slighted with the knowledge that Sandy Alderson and the Mets made no effort to keep the 28-year-old shortstop in Queens. Boomer on the other hand, he saw this coming from a mile away and appreciated Alderson's honesty when talking with the media.
The Packers improved to 12-0 after beating the Giants 38-35 yesterday and we got to hear from the radio voice of the Giants, Bob Papa call the game winning field goal as time expired.
Following the game, Tom Coughlin, Justin Tuck, Brandon Jacobs, Antrel Rolle and Eli Manning all addressed the media and Jerry had audio proof.
The Jets got a much needed win over the Redskins in Washington and according to Rex Ryan, it was Sanchez who came up big in the clutch. Meanwhile Sanchez credited the guys up front. Either way you cut it, the Jets improved to 7-5 and have the Kansas City Chiefs coming to town next Sunday.
Plus, the rest of the NFL scoreboard, the BSC National Championship game is set (LSU-Alabama - 1/9/12) and Tiger Woods gets a win at 'The Chevron World Challenge' - which made Craig very happy...
