The Yankees got a late-night win in the Bronx last night, defeating the Orioles 5-3. And to start off his first update of the morning, Jerry Recco provided the audio of Yankees radio play-by-play John Sterling calling Francisco Cervelli's 7th inning home run that gave the Bombers a lead they wold not relinquish.

Following the game, Joe Girardi had some postgame comments -- and even broke down a little physics in regards to the flight of Cervelli's homer.
Then we heard from Terry Collins, whose Mets club played down in Florida after sitting through a rain delay of their own. And like their New York counterpart, they to managed to put one in the win column with a 7-4, extra-innings victory over the Marlins.
R.A. Dickey will take the mound tonight for the Mets in search of his 8th win of the year and in an unrelated/related story we learned that 'for that' our very own Al Dukes 'uses his hand'.
From the NFL, the Giants lose middle linebacker Jonathan Goff for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, the Jacksonville Jaguars released QB David Garrard and Boomer knows why...
