B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Monday Morning Update
Before Jerry Recco could get to his informative update, the guys had some fun looking at and talking about today's curvy 'Attention Grabber', who goes by the name of Ashleigh - Hellooooo!!! (pictured below).
With that out of the way, Jerry provided plenty of sound following tough losses by both the Jets and the Giants.
He began with the Jets, who lost to their division foe New England Patriots in Foxboro and for the third week in a row got exposed. We heard Gang Green's outspoken Head coach Rex Ryan talk about how much this latest loss hurts.
Mark Sanchez showed great leadership following the 30-21 loss, saying that if anyone is looking to place blame, look no further than him. In addition to the loss, there is also a report out there claiming Rex may have a mutiny on his hands involving offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and some prominent offensive players. That according to NY Daily News sports writer Manish Mehta's piece in yesterday's paper.
The Jets have denied the reports, but usually where there is smoke there is fire so stay tuned. Another thing, Craig is certain the Jets will right the ship Monday night when they welcome the Dolphins to MetLife Stadium.
As for the Giants, they suffered a 36-25 loss to back-up QB Charlie Whitehurst and the Seattle Seahawks. Jerry provided post game audio of Tom Coughlin who called this loss a tough one and Eli Manning, whose demeanor never seems to change despite what happens on the field.
Victor Cruz talked about his roller coaster day, while Justin Tuck, Mathias Kiwanuku and Antrel Rolle tried to make sense of it all.
Jerry provided the rest of the scores from Week 5 and then took a shot at NY Rangers coach John Tortarella, whose Blue Shirts are winless after their first two games of the season...
