B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Informative And Entertaining Update
Prior to Jerry Recco's first update, and on the heels of the guys talking about riding bikes together during the open, Boomer brought up a cause that is certainly dear to his heart. It's called 'Run for Roses - From the Arch to the Apple,' which is a 65-day running pilgrimage to spread awareness, raise funds and share stories of Cystic Fibrosis.
The woman doing the run is an inspiring woman by the name of Colleen Caul and you can learn more about Colleen and her run by clicking here. You can check out Boomer's Foundation's site (BEF) by clicking here - Esiason.org.
After that, Jerry updated us on a Yankees loss (15-8 to the Rays), a Mets win - seriously, not only are the Amazin's still playing, but they actually won against the Cardinals in St. Louis 8-6, thanks to a 6 run 9th.
Moving right along to the NFL, as the injury ravaged Giants prepare for Michael Vick and the Eagles. Big Blue's defensive coordinator Perry Fewell doesn't deny ordering players to fake injuries, which made Craig wonder why we're still talking about this topic and prompted Boomer to sound off once again on the safety of NFL players.
As the Jets get ready to head west and take on the Raiders in Oakland, Craig is feeling ultra-confident about Rex's Gang's chances in the 'Black Hole.' We also get to hear all about B&C's lunch yesterday, as Craig name drops until his little heart is content...
