B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco Updates A Blowout
The Giants got blistered last night in New Orleans and Jerry Recco got us all updated on the 49-24 beating this morning during his first update.
Jerry thought Bob Papa summed it up pretty well, so he played some audio of the Giants radio play-by-play man which was heard last night here on the FAN. Papa referenced the 577 total yards yielded by the Giants defense, which allowed Drew Brees and the Saints to march up and down the field at will.
Following the game, Tom Coughlin got a little chippy and talked about his team's preparation leading up to the game. Chris Canty also talked about the game plan coming in and wondered what went awry.
Brandon Jacobs found his way into the end zone early in the 3rd quarter and made the most of his time there by celebration with a TD dance he is calling the 'Josephine Johnny.'
As for Rex Ryan, he addressed the media and refused to apologize for his team's ugly win over the Bills on Sunday. For the record I don't believe anyone actually asked Rex for an apology, but that is neither here nor there.
Plus, Jerry updated us on some NFL injury news, a lopsided win by the Columbia Lions (ROAR!!!) and we learn about how tough the Carton kids are...
