B&C Morning Show: It's Now The Mets At The 'Top Of The Heap'
Boomer and Craig were pleased to open this Friday edition of the Morning Extravaganza by praising their beloved New York Mets, who for their money are currently the 'best team in New York City.'
With yesterday's 9-4 win over the Reds, combined with the Yankees' 4-1 setback to the Blue Jays last night in Toronto (the Bombers' third straight loss), Terry Collins' Mets find themselves with a better record (21-17) than their cross-town rival (20-18).
Now we all understand it's a bit premature to declare the Mets are at the 'top of the heap' when we haven't even made it to Memorial Day yet, but who would have thought this argument would even be on the table at this point of the season?
Boomer and Craig talked about how likable this Mets teams is, before comparing the two teams rosters and payrolls.
So for the most part the Dynamic Radio Duo were in lock-step when opening-up today's Radio Program, that is until Craig noticed his Muppet was hanging by its wrist in the Allstate Studio (pictured)...
