B&C Morning Show: Giants Make A 'Big Blue' Statement
Before Boomer & Craig got things amped up in the AllState Studio, a decision was made to listen back to some audio of Craig confidently predicting the Giants' demise on Friday, mixed together with some highlights of Big Blue's dominant win over the Atlanta Falcons. That decision, I presume, was music to Giants fans' ears I'm sure. Literally.
From there Craig was left with no choice but to praise Tom Coughlin's bunch, as they played a complete game leading to a 24-2 victory and a date with destiny in Green Bay Sunday afternoon.
Boomer was quick to point out that in his biggest game of the year, Eli Manning played his best - completing 23-32 passes for 277 yards and 3 TD's. Eli's heroics, combined with a dominant running game (172 yards) and a defensive line that did pretty much whatever it pleased, proved to be way too much for Matty 'Ice' and the over-matched Falcons to handle.
Craig did admit that this is starting to feel an awful like like 2007, but quickly added it will not end the same. That of course, remains to be seen. Today though, marks the beginning of what is sure to be an entertaining week leading-up to the Division Round match-up at historic Lambeau Field.
