B&C Morning Show: Giants Enter Bye Week On A High Note

The New York football Giants got a 27-24 win over the Buffalo Bills yesterday afternoon and now enter their bye week with a record of 4-2.

Boomer & Craig opened up this Football Monday edition of the Morning Experience talking about Big Blue's triumph, and of course, the Jets 'must-win' game tonight against the Dolphins.

With the win the Giants gained sole possession of first place in the NFC East and will now begin preparing for the aforementioned Dolphins, who will be their Week 7 opponent.

So as it stands now, the Giants are alive & well and enter the bye week on a high after not turning the ball over against the Bills.  Craig was quick to point out that the Bills were unable to put the game away, Boomer agreed and referenced what he called a case of Chan Gailey getting greedy - which in turn led to a 4th quarter interception by Corey Webster and eventually turned into a 23 yard, Lawrence Tynes field-goal.

Moving right along to the Jets, Craig is still very confident in their chances tonight against the Dolphins, but is a little worried about a slow start.

While talking about what the atmosphere might be like tonight in MetLife Stadium, Craig decided he would like to go so he asks his 'best-friend' Boomer for tickets, only to learn that the Blonde Bomber's tickets have already been spoken for.

On a sad note, English race car driver Dan Wheldon passed away yesterday from injuries suffered during a 15-car pileup at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  Wheldon was a guest on the Program back in June, just after winning his 2nd Indy 500.  Boomer and Craig talked about the 33 year-old father of two's, untimely passing.  You can listen to the interview by clicking here...
