B&C Morning Show: Brian Billick Talks Jets And Giants, Previews Week 7
Brian Billick (pictured expressing jubilation) made his weekly appearance with Boomer & Craig this morning.
Before they could talk about all the NFL on the horizon, they began talking about the post-game scuffle that took place Sunday between 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and Lions coach Jim Schwartz.
They also touched on the trade between the Bengals (Who Dey!!!) and the Raiders that saw Carson Palmer land in Oakland, while Cincinnati gets a couple of high draft picks in return. Now the question becomes: when will Palmer be ready to play?
Then they moved onto the the Jets, who will face the Chargers this week at home. Billick had some interesting things to say about Rex's Gang Green - saying the defense is playing good, not great - the running game is not what it's been in the past and with a combination like that the QB has to step up - and to this point Mark Sanchez has not done so.
As for the Giants, who have a Week 7 bye, the guys talked about what a brutal schedule awaits Big Blue when they return - well after they play the Dolphins that is.
