Veterinarian Injured, 2 Dogs Killed In Chester Fire
CHESTER, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at an animal hospital in Orange County.
The fire broke out in a veterinarian's home above his All Pets Veterinary Hospital on Route 17M in Chester around 7 a.m. Friday.
The veterinarian was injured, CBS2's Sonia Rincon tweeted.
Two of his dogs were killed.
The fire closed Route 17M between Lehigh Avenue/Kings Highway and Craigville Road for several hours, police said. Click here to check traffic.
