Ahmad Bradshaw: Chances Of Re-Signing With Giants ‘75-25’
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw really likes New York.
But he's also intrigued by Miami.
Taking a page out of Antonio Cromartie's playbook, Bradshaw cited the "business" of football on Thursday and told WQAM's Sid Rosenberg that "it's all in the Giants' hands."
"I'd have to say 75-25," Bradshaw said about his chances of returning to Big Blue. "I love New York, I give them the upper hand. It is all about a business, it is a business. I take it very seriously where I want to be. I love New York and would love to stay there but then the money factor comes in."
Bradshaw's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said the running back is also "very interested" in the Dolphins during a television appearance in Miami last week. Bradshaw may become an unrestricted free agent once the NFL's labor situation is resolved.
"There are great people down here. It's beautiful, the weather is amazing," Bradshaw told Rosenberg. "The fans are great in New York. Just the atmosphere down here in Miami, it kind of reminds me of it."
The Giants' leading rusher last season had plenty of praise to heap on Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano. Though, unlike Plaxico Burress, Bradshaw only had good things to say about Giants coach Tom Coughlin.
"Coughlin is a great guy," he said. "He treats me like a son. I can't speak for anybody else but he treats me like a son and he is a great coach and gets you prepared for every game to the fullest. I can't say anything negative about Coach Coughlin."
Bradshaw rushed for 1,235 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2010, his fourth season with New York.
