9/7 CBS2 Labor Day Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good afternoon, and Happy Labor Day, folks! We've got nothing but blue skies and warm temps across the area...so get out and enjoy the beach or the pool if you can! Temps will top off in the upper 80s and low 90s this afternoon with humidity a bit higher this evening
Tomorrow will be a real scorcher...Temps reach the low 90s and we could be approaching records for the date. It'll also be noticeably more humid, so make sure you dress comfortably and keep cool & hydrated. Wednesday the temps go down a few ticks but the humidity ramps up even higher, so it'll be the most uncomfortable day of the week by far. Temps in the upper 80s/low 90s feeling more like mid 90s.
Looks like we have a chance for showers/storms Thursday into Friday with temps backing down through the 80s...while some may like sunshine to reign supreme, truth is we do need some rain...but none today! Enjoy the spectacular end to a gorgeous holiday weekend!
