Hope you're having a good start to your weekend! Today will be the better weekend day. Mostly sunny skies will beat down on us. The east end will hold onto some clouds and a few showers.

Today's high: a nice and balmy 84-88°.

Temps will drop into the 60s & 70s overnight and Sunday will start with clouds east. Expect a few pockets of heavy showers on Sunday in Suffolk & Nassau County. The Poconos, Hudson Valley, and Catskills will have the best weather on Sunday.

Sunday's high will be a spot cooler in the mid 80s.
