8/19 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Expect a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon with a few pop up storms mainly to our west. And given the rainfall potential around the area, there could even be some isolated flooding. Temps will be slightly cooler than yesterday with a high of about 86°, but it will still be humid out there.
We'll quiet things down into tonight... stray shower possible. It will be on the mild and muggy side with a low in the mid 70s.
Showers/storms are possible into tomorrow, but again, the best chance will be from the city and west. And after a week-long streak, temps will finally return to normal... humid conditions persist.
A cold front will deliver rain late Thursday night into Friday along with some flooding concerns. It's too soon to tell just how much we'll get and where the heaviest rain will fall, but it will certainly be worth keeping an eye on over the next couple of days.
And as of now, we'll try to clear things out for your Saturday, though the models are hinting at some lingering precipitation (especially off to our east).
Check back for more on the rest of this week and your weekend!
