8/16 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

It will be even sticker than yesterday with temps approaching the 90° mark. So, if you do the math, it will feel like the upper 90's to nearly 100°! Outside of temps, we're talking storms -- potentially severe storms, at that. The main threats from these would be heavy rain (which could lead to flooding), gusty winds, and hail.

Some evening storms will roll through and leave things damp around the area. It will be another muggy one with temps only falling into the upper to mid 70's by daybreak.

A cold front will push through tomorrow morning and usher in some drier air. So, it will still be a little humid, but not as humid as today. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 80's.

A stray storm will be possible into Thursday, but overall, it's looking like a quiet day. Temps will be hanging onto the upper 80's again.

As for Friday, we're looking at mostly sunny skies and a high in the upper 80's.
