7/16 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
There will be a chance for a few more showers & rumbles this evening & overnight, so just keep the umbrella handy if you're going out. Otherwise expect a warm & muggy night with partly clear skies and temps only dropping into the mid 70s around town.
Tomorrow should be pretty much a copy of today - mostly sunny skies, high heat, and manageable humidity levels. We'll reach the upper 80s in NYC but a few inland spots should hit 90 again. Just like today there will be a few late afternoon showers... right now we're going with a 20-30% chance. So not a total washout, but be on the lookout for any storms to produce heavy rain and gusty winds.
Monday is looking like a true summer sizzler with temps hitting the low & mid 90s around the City with increasing humidity. It'll feel quite sticky out there, and an approaching cold front will bring the chance for showers by the evening.
Have a good night!
