Stop into Haru Sushi for their refreshing and limited-time summer specialties. Start your meal out with a revitalizing and detoxifying Cucumber Matcha Margarita ($14) made with Avion Silver tequila, Ty Ku Cucumber sake, Luxardo and matcha mixed with a housemade cucumber-jalapeno infusion. The Watermelon Roll ($18) is the perfect summer take on the sushi roll – snow crab, green onion, mint, and watermelon that is topped with shrimp and served with lemon dressing. The Tuna Tataki & Tomato Salad ($16) is another tasty option while the Bluefin Crab & Corn Fritters ($8) are a great starter, made with blue crab, corn, green onion, ginger, and Thai basil that's served with an Old Bay dressing. End your meal with the decadent Tempura Fried Cheesecake (yep, we went there) and you may never want to leave. Check website to see which location is nearest you and start celebrating summer!

The Waldorf Astoria is taking full advantage of summer by incorporating fresh ingredients from their rooftop garden to their menus at both of their restaurants. The Sous Vide Honey Fried Chicken at Bull and Bear and the Avocado Chicken Salad Crostini topped with rooftop Shisho and Radish are just a few items being featured this season. The hotel's master mixologist, Frank Caiafa, is busy whipping up signature cocktails using "Top of the Waldorf Rooftop Honey" and herbs from the roof. May we suggest the Wax Poetic – honey syrup, lemon, and Bison Grass Vodka? If you're in the mood to cool down with a brew, definitely try the Greatest of Them Ale summer beer that's made with lemon verbena and hops from the garden. It doesn't get much fresher than that. Come check it out for yourself.

Hakkasan New York is celebrating the launch of Ling Ling in Mykonos by featuring a taste of its cuisine and cocktails that just happen to pair perfectly with the summer season. For $45 you can enjoy a special menu that includes your choice of fish and vegetables or meat and seafood. The first option comes with crispy pumpkin salad with mountain yam, grilled sea bass with Chinese honey, steamed Chinese chive dumplings, stir-fry asparagus with lotus root, and a chef selection of macaroons. The latter includes crispy duck salad with pomegranate, smoked short rib, stir-fry scallop with XO sauce, spicy prawn with lily bulb and almond, and a chef selection of macaroons. Wash it all down with a Ling Ling Collins, their signature cocktail that will be served in the Mykonos location. This special menu will be available through August 31st and is available to order from 9:30 p.m. to close.

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer by setting up a picnic of your own! The New York Hilton Midtown is making it easy thanks to their gourmet market, Herb N Kitchen. All you have to do is pick up a picnic basket and head for the park because it's already filled with a Murray's Cheese plate, two sandwiches, two signature salads, New York cheesecake, and a bottle of sustainable wine. It's valued at over $100 but it'll only cost you $68. Now that's a perfect date idea!

Vegetable Ice Cream Salad

If you've never been one to eat your vegetables you may want to stop into Dirt Candy. Chef Amanda Cohen is making it easy thanks to the delicious dessert (yes, we said dessert) that she added to the summer menu. The Vegetable Ice Cream Salad features lettuce sorbet, cucumber sorbet, yellow beet ice cream, grilled radicchio ice cream, and goat cheese ice cream. It's all topped with walnut cake croutons, maraschino grapefruit, and dill sprinkles. Now that's a salad worth eating!

You may have to stop into Milk Bar just for their Ballpark Bomb ($4). Who are we kidding, who can say no to a Compost Cookie or Cereal Milk to go with it? Those who can't make it to the baseball stadium will be happy to know that Christina Tosi added her version of a hot dog to the playful summer menu. She's layered house made honey mustard cream cheese with sliced hot dogs and nestled it all inside a pretzel dough ball. Topped with kosher salt, sesame seeds, and celery seeds, it's certainly the yummiest snack on the go!
