5/21 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening all,
It's a cool, gray one today. Temps are in the 50s and low 60s around the area.
Rain is falling from Staten Island on southward. It's a light rain with heaviest activity consolidated well to the south.
The low-pressure system will continue to move offshore and intensify as it does so. I would be more concerned with the rain if it weren't so far south. The showers will clear 90 percent of our area overnight with only the twin forks holding onto rain in the morning.
The second impulse with fly through the Tri-State tomorrow afternoon dropping a brief shower at best.
Memorial Day Weekend is on track. Milder temps for next week with a storm risk.
