4/3 CBS2 Friday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist
The shower threat continues through this afternoon with the greatest chance of showers near sunset. Highs will be on the mild side once again... mid 60s.
More widespread showers pass through the area tonight. Some of these showers may be accompanied by a rumble or two. While the flood threat is low, an exceptionally heavy shower could cause a little roadway flooding. The shower threat will continue into the overnight hours... things wind down from 4-7 a.m.
It will be gusty tomorrow (40+ mph), but we welcome back drier air and sunshine. Expect highs to be about 10 degrees cooler... low to mid 50s.
The winds keep up on Easter, though it won't be quite as gusty. Morning sunshine will give way to some more afternoon clouds... a late shower (especially north of the city) is possible, but don't expect a washout. Highs will be a touch warmer in the upper 50s.
Check back for more on next week! Enjoy the holiday weekend!
