The video touches on incidents like the 2014 chokehold death of Eric Garner on Staten Island, the stairwell shooting death of Akai Gurley in Brooklyn, and the more recent deaths of Philando Castile in Minnesota and Alton Sterling, in Baton Rouge.

Celebrities like Kevin Hart are also spreading the word on Twitter, advocating for those to sign a petition in support of bringing social justice reform.

"We demand radical transformation to heal the long historic of systemic racism so that all Americans have the equal right to live and to pursue happiness," Keys said in the video.

The video has since gone viral, giving birth to the new hashtag #23ways.
