2/10 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening everyone!
Hope you're having a good Tuesday. The weather is actually tranquil today. With temps a few degrees above normal in many areas, some melting is occurring right now.
Expect some wet roads to freeze again overnight. Travel safe.
Tomorrow is another fairly tranquil day -- a few degrees cooler with some clouds expected. High: low to mid 30s.
Thursday is our next chance for snow. Another Alberta Clipper slides across the states to bring us and inch or two of snow to just about everyone.
Long Island has a better chance for some of the 2 inches or more totals on the east end. Why? The storm can interact with a system offshore and re-energize it.
Behind the light snow, temps will crash hard again. Arctic air returns and we have a cold Friday through Sunday on tap.
Check back in soon for the latest.
