2 Arrested, 1 Sought In Fatal Stabbing Of Bronx Teenager

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two people are under arrest in connection with the stabbing death of a teenage boy in the Bronx on Friday.

Police said they're still searching for a third suspect, 1010 WINS reported.

According to authorities, 17-year-old Ricardo Romero, of the Bronx, had been stabbed in the torso. He also suffered a laceration to his head.

The teenager was lured to an apartment on Creston Avenue at East 182nd Street by a girl on Facebook, the Daily News reported.

Investigators believe it may have been a set up to rob the teen. Daily News reported they met around 7 p.m. and Romero was mugged by two men.

Romero was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

On Saturday, police announced charges against 19-year-old Christian Juarez and 27-year-old Christopher Garcia.

Juarez is charged with murder, manslaughter, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, police said. Garcia is charged with conspiracy.
