1/6 CBS2 Wednesday Morning Weather Headlines

Morning everyone! Another cold start out there with temps in the teens and 20s for most. But the winds have subsided, which means it's not as harsh... relatively speaking of course. I mean, it's still cold!

Temps climb a little higher today, back into the upper 30s and low 40s... should top out around 40 in the city with plenty of sunshine. And even better news, the temps climb for the rest of the week. We'll be approaching 50 by the weekend.

Our next precip chance moves in overnight Friday into Saturday, and it stays unsettled through the weekend. Do the mild temps last? Yes for now, but it's looking like another shot of arctic air next week. Still a ways out, but stay tuned as we get closer.
