12/24 CBS2 Christmas Eve Thursday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening everyone! And Merry Christmas Eve!
Records were smashed all across the area today. We hit 72° in Central Park -- destroying the record of 63° set back in 1998. Almost every city in the Tri-State set new records today by ample degrees.
A little bit of rain will be trickling through this evening, but it will be drying out as the night goes on.
Tomorrow, skies clear and we break another record at 65° beating the old one around 64.
Rain does return late Christmas evening into your Saturday, but we'll talk about that later….
Happy holidays!
