12/13 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre Jr., CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening all!
We're enjoying much quieter weather tonight after a midweek Nor'easter. The storm system is still in the neighborhood though, spinning off the coast of Maine. Thankfully, we have high pressure building in and knocking the storm farther out. We'll have a few clouds tonight and temps will drop into the 20s and 30s overnight.
Tomorrow will be quite a good lookin' day with plentiful sunshine and temps warming into the mid and upper 40s for most. There will be a breeze kicking up, so you'll want to add an extra layer as you step outside-- especially for the early risers.
Expect a similarly nice day Monday as we hit 47 in NYC with more sunshine. Some clouds will start filling in early Tuesday morning in advance of our next round of rain. Temps will near 50 in the city on Tuesday, with late day rain/showers-- but don't worry, we're not facing a repeat of last week! Wednesday looks good with a mix of sun and clouds and temps reaching the mid-40s.
