1/20 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Justin Lewis, CBS2 Meteorologist
We're catching a break from those harsh winds we experienced the last couple of days, which is great. As for air temperatures, we'll be above freezing for the first time since Sunday... highs in the mid to upper 30s.
A flurry may swing through tonight, but don't expect much more than that. Temps will fall into the mid 20s by daybreak.

We'll see more in the way of sunshine tomorrow as high pressure nudges back in. It will be on the chilly side though with a gentle afternoon breeze... high near 34°.
There's no need to panic as we head into Friday... think of it as the calm before the storm (assuming this thing plays out). It will still be chilly though with highs in the mid 30s.
As for this weekend, it still looks like a storm has its eyes on the tri-state with the bulk of the precipitation falling on Saturday and in the form of snow. It is too soon to say how much, but we'll be throwing out some ranges in the coming days.
Be sure to check back!
