11/6 CBS2 Friday Afternoon & Weekend Forecast

A stray shower is possible this afternoon, but the main story will be the heat! Temperatures are expected to spike in the mid to upper 70s today which would break the long-standing record of 74° set back on this date in 1948. So, while we're only expecting breaks of sun, it will feel pretty good out there. Enjoy!
Showers will swing through this evening and we'll quiet down into the overnight. The exception will be S&E of the city where our cold front will get be slow to make its exit. Temps will still only fall into the upper 50s by daybreak.
Expect partly sunny skies tomorrow with just a leftover chance of light rain to our south. Highs will be running about 10° cooler in the mid 60s.
You'll need to break out the sunglasses, for sure, on Sunday! It will be even cooler, though, with temps only rising into the mid 50s.
As of now, your Monday looks quiet with temps around normal.
Check back for more on this weekend!
