1/13 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening all,
Incredible cold started off our day around the area. If you lived in Dutchess, Ulster, or Sullivan counties, you had it the worst. See the map for bottom-dollar wind chills... they're brutal.
The winds were gusting into the lower 40s today as well.
The good news is the winds will begin to subside after sunset. This will cut down on the chill, but clear and calm conditions will lead to radiation cooling. Cooling = all heat escapes, which equals cold temps.
A little burst of snow showers is likely for some tomorrow morning, as yet another weak clipper front passes by.
Check in soon everyone. BUNDLE UP!
