11/19 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening,

A sunny day it was not. Although we did not have much rain early on today, we have increased the clouds cover, lowered our ceilings, and rain has drizzled down since about 10:30 a.m.

Rain will fall throughout the early evening into the overnight period. Skies will brighten west to east as time goes, with the east end of Long Island holding onto rain the longest and latest.

I think all storminess clears by 4 a.m., even at Montauk. Friday is clear and breezy with temps rebounding into the mid/upper 50s.
