11/10 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening,

We've finally had a legitimate rainy fall day. Although the rainfall has not been to crazy here in the city, rain has been steadier and heavier down the shore.

Long Beach Island, New Jersey had received nearly 2" of rain and some minor localized flooding. But the ground is so dry, we are very much below our rain average for year, that flooding would be very surprising.

Rain will continue off and on overnight, commencing around midday tomorrow out north& east. Clearer skies will prevail tomorrow afternoon, but the winds will still be blowing.

The break is brief, skies fill in with clouds again and some rain returns for Thursday afternoon.
