10/18 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Sunday morning! Hope you're staying warm and toasty, 'cause it's downright COLD out there this morning! Many folks are starting off in the 20s and 30s... and we'll only warm into the mid & upper 40s! Expect passing clouds this afternoon with a stray sprinkle, or even a flurry north and west! Might be best to stay warm and cozy indoors today.
Freeze alerts will be in effect once again tonight as temps drop back into the 20s and 30s. Layer up as you head to work or school Monday morning, it'll be feeling like winter! We'll warm into the upper 40s and low 50s tomorrow afternoon, which is still a good 10-15 below normal.
We do have some good news, though: we'll eventually warm up to mid 60s Tuesday, and we'll be even better off Wednesday as we find 70! Temps stay in the low to mid 60s for the end of the week.
