Turning point
With more than 1,000 delegates at stake in five states, the voters in Tuesday's primaries have the chance to dramatically impact the 2016 contest. Donald Trump could effectively lock down the GOP nomination, but in any case, the contests are likely to reshape the Republican field.
Last stand
Holding his last campaign event before Florida decides his political future, Marco Rubio visited the the community where he first served as City Commissioner and still lives today with his family. For days, Rubio has declared that "it all comes down to Florida."
"Big picture guy"
Ben Carson has explained his backing for Donald Trump to win the Republican nomination, suggesting somewhat unenthusiastically that if other GOP leaders fail to rally around the bombastic billionaire, it could leave the party irreparably "fractured."
Nature unchained
Severe storms have hit more than 40 million Americans. A tornado tore through Ohio, large pieces of hail and high winds battered South Carolina, and further south, rising rivers in Louisiana and Texas have forced people to head for higher ground.
Youthful insight
Today could mark a major turning point in campaign 2016, but with all the name calling, yelling and attack ads, parents might wonder how to talk to kids about this election season. CBS News meets a handful of 5th graders and asks them what they think about this election cycle, and the candidates in the race.
Behaving badly
It's a peak week for this year's spring break in many of America's sunny spots, including Miami, where hundreds of thousands of college kids are partying together. But several communities are struggling to maintain control -- and in some cases, they're losing.
