Slain lawmaker to become first woman to lie in state at Minnesota Capitol

Minnesota House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark and their dog, Gilbert, will lie in state on Friday, nearly two weeks after they were killed by a gunman inside their Brooklyn Park home, the office of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz announced on Tuesday morning.
