Dad donates kidney to son with rare genetic disease, allowing him to play college lacrosse
Bill Martens donated one of his kidneys to his son Blake, who went into end-stage renal failure at 17 due to a rare genetic disease — and Blake went on to play his entire senior lacrosse season and now plays in college.
