It seems just about everyone is paying more for gas right now. But diesel prices are rising even faster. That's a major issue when it comes to school buses.
For those who use diesel fuel, the cost has gone up 30 cents a gallon in the last week and more than $2 dollars in the last year. Minnesota farmers say the increasing cost could impact consumer prices.
Despite the recent dip, AAA said gas prices are still about a $1.15 more per gallon than a year ago. And the price of airfare has gone up more than 20%.
Americans on tight budgets are getting hit especially hard by surging fuel costs, forcing some to make hard choices.
