The Minnesota Wild Foundation is holding its biggest fundraiser of the year on Dec. 1 at A'bulae in St. Paul.
Defenseman Marco Scandella agreed to a five-year extension with the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. The deal will run through the 2019-20 season. Terms of the deal were not announced.
Marco Scandella scored the winning goal 2:04 into overtime, after Thomas Vanek pulled Minnesota even late in regulation, and the Wild beat the Dallas Stars 5-4 after blowing a three-goal lead on Friday night. Scandella poked a loose puck past Kari Lehtonen from close range to hand the Stars their eighth straight overtime loss at home.
The defending Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings were in St. Paul on Wednesday to play the Minnesota Wild. It was the second meeting of the year between the two clubs. Los Angeles won the previous meeting on Oct. 19 by a score of 2-1.

"It was a little bit of relief and happy we were able to bounce back and get out of here with two points," Zucker said.
The Minnesota Wild have assigned goalie Josh Harding to their AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild. The move was made Tuesday after Harding cleared waivers. The 30-year-old was taken off injured reserve Monday. He hasn't skated with the Wild this season. Harding broke his right foot in an incident off the ice a few days before training camp and was put on a suspended list.

The Wild have been missing leading scorer Zach Parise since Nov. 4. He's out with a concussion and Minnesota scored two goals in three straight losses without him.
