MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Teacher Ben McGahee of Pima Community College in Tucson, Ariz. said Jared Loughner acted in a strange and threatening manner when he had him in class.
"Jared was a disturbance on the first day of class," said McGahee.
He said other students would ask Loughner to be quiet but it didn't seem to help. He would continue with random outbursts.
McGahee became increasingly concerned about classroom safety.
"And once he walked out (of the classroom) he kind of just looked at me with this evil kind of stare," said McGahee in an interview with Chad Hartman on WCCO Radio.
The shooting rampage Saturday left six people dead and 14 wounded. Among the wounded is Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords who is now able to breathe on her own by remains in critical condition.
