Police: 2 Robbed At Gunpoint Near 'U' Campus
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police say two people asking for a cigarette actually wanted much more.
The two victims were walking in the Prospect Park neighborhood near the University of Minnesota campus around 2 a.m. Friday.
According to police, the robbers took out a gun and demanded their wallets and electronics before taking off in a gray SUV.
Police do not have a description of the robbers but are continuing to gather information.
