Police: 1 Dead, 1 Injured, Suspect At Large In Mpls. Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police say one person was killed and another was injured in a shooting Friday night, and the suspect is at large.
The fatal shooting happened just after 10:30 p.m., when police got a ShotSpotter notification around the 1800 block of Newton Avenue North.
They found a man shot dead in front of a home. Officers also found another man who had been shot in the foot. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center.
Police say the man killed was the intended target. A description of the suspect has not been released.
