Summery temps continue in Twin Cities, with rain and cooldown on the horizon

Summer-like warmth will hold for the next few days in Minnesota, before weekend storms and an eventual cooldown.

The Twin Cities will see partly cloudy conditions on Wednesday, staying mild with a high near 84 degrees.

Thursday will be a couple degrees warmer with more sunshine, while Friday's high may approach the daily record of 90.

It stays hot on Saturday before the cold front arrives Sunday and drops temperatures a bit across the metro.

The next best chance of scattered showers in the metro is on Sunday, but the shower chances are trending north.

It will be much cooler next week, with highs in the 60s.
