MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police say a missing teenager has been located and is safe. Thirteen-year-old Fardowso Ibrahim Hassan had been missing since Sunday night, when she was last seen on the 3500 block of Morgan Avenue North. Police believed she may have been in danger.

"This is not standard behavior for her, at all," said Minneapolis Police Public Information Officer John Elder. "This lapse in time really caused a great deal of concern, not only to the family but to the community as well."

Minneapolis police said late Wednesday night that Fardowso Hassan had been located and is safe, but did not specify where she was found or where she had been since Sunday.
