MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Former U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann is suggesting that Hillary Clinton is behind the leak of the controversial Donald Trump recording.
The Republican from Minnesota told CNN on Saturday that Clinton needed a distraction.
"The Clinton campaign had to change the conversation, because she had a lot of really bad news this week," Bachmann said. "And so this 11-year-old bad boy locker room talk, this is how she wanted to do it. She's trying to tell the media what she wants them to focus on…That's really what this is about."
When Bachmann, a woman and mother, was asked how she feels about Trump's lewd comments on women, she said "nothing happens by accident from the Clinton campaign.""
