Marcus Theatres Honor Prince With 'Purple Rain' Showings
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The tragic death of music star and entertainer Prince last Thursday sparked a series of memorials and tributes across the globe.
Officials with Marcus Theatres said Monday they're showing "Purple Rain" at theaters across the country Tuesday and Thursday for $5. The special tribute showings will take place at 7 p.m. both nights.
The Minnesota theaters participating include locations in Duluth, Oakdale, Parkwood, Rosemount and Shakopee.
