Mahnomen Co. Officials Investigate Shooting Deaths Of Couple
MAHNOMEN, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have identified a couple found fatally shot at a farm in northwestern Minnesota.
Mahnomen County Sheriff Doug Krier says deputies responded to a 911 call about shots fired Tuesday and found the bodies of 74-year-old Lynn Thompson and 68-year-old Elizabeth Thompson.
KFGO reports the two were found dead at a farmstead near Mahnomen. Investigators are waiting for autopsy results.
